Really really good, really really long article. Totally worth reading if you care about your brain, and being in good health when you're older.
Contrary to what scientists previously thought, the adult brain is still pretty malleable; basically humans are capable of changing their brain patterns.
The six ways to boost your brainpower are:
1. Exercise - increases blood flow, prevents dementia, battles depression
2. Diet - low in saturated fats, high in anti-oxidants
3. Stimulants - drink coffee!!!
4. Video Games - a couple-to-a-few hours a week
5. Music - listening, and learning how to play
6. Meditation - once a day
