Arnold Schwarzenegger is asking for $7 billion from the federal government to cover the California budget. The Governor says that the money is needed right away to avoid the lay-off of state employees, and the suspension of funds to schools. I'm sure the prisons are still getting paid, though; they seem to take precedence over schools in California. Who needs an education when we have such nice prisons?
